On Wednesday 27th August 2008, H.E Dr Chuma Igbokwe, Consul of Niger to Great Britain and a delegation from the Niger Consul in Great Britain, visited the Nigerian High Commission, London, for a meeting with the High Commissioner (UK) H.E Dr Tafida. Also present at the meeting were the Nigerian High Commission`s First Minister Mr D Agu and Minister (Information) Mr I Nwokike, Chief Protocol Officer to the Consul Mr Micheal Raji, Special Advisors Dr Obi Mbamali, Dr Kareem Oladimeji, Mr Meekail Sowami and the Consular PR Officer Mr Antony Puncher.

The meeting was a great start to a working relationship with the current Nigerian High Commissioner and both parties expressed a keen interest to meet again to explore further opportunities that may be of common interest to these two great nations.
